A native of Washington, builder by trade, Don was taken by surprise when he discovered his ability to create paintings in oil. He pays particular attention to the colors and textures of everything around him and have been so gratified to be able to share what he sees in his art. His paintings embody the passion he feels for his subject. He has enjoyed painting architectural subjects as well as figurative, still life and landscapes.
